From the most emblematic monument to the purest ocher powder, from the small secret garden to a hidden sculpture, they will tell you about the most beautiful strokes of genius that the territory conceals. Between art and heritage, history and terroir, these will be revelations for you! And we are lucky to live here!
A moment out of time!
We are all looking for a timeless moment, the Moulin de Vanneau is a moment to discover the rural culture of Puisaye. A farm where the animals are at home, without any engines! Everything is done on site, from the birth of the animals to the bread baked in the traditional oven. Some of the vegetables too, grown on site using animal traction by Constance. We find everything on our plate in the evening, in the dining room of an old farmhouse. Not many tables, Yves and Flo will serve you with a love of natural, real life.

The authenticity of Puisaye pottery
The first thing you see are his hands that have been shaping the earth for years. Yolaine, her workshop, her tools, her land, her place, it all comes together as a whole, elements inseparable from each other. She is an artisan (and not an artist) who makes pots and who alone embodies the entire ceramic activity and its history. Yolaine and her place, we take them as they are: raw and authentic, without fuss or fuss. Once you open the barrier and it comes to meet you, you will know straight away that you are in for a magical moment.

The CRAC and the Battle of Fontenoy Museum
Two museums in the same village. In addition to the lovely Gothic church, the Museum of the Battle of Fontenoy which determined the birth of France in 841 and the Regional Center for Contemporary Art, installed in a wing of a Louis XIII castle which offers us two temporary exhibitions per year. Try to meet Ghislaine: she will tell you all about it.

The little Sunday trip to disconnect
My little Sunday trip to Ferté-Loupière has become almost recurring, especially when I have people at home! This is my little digestive stroll. Rediscovery of the Saint Germain church, take a trip to the Acanthe gallery to admire the current and summer exhibitions, also see those in the Priory Barn and in the photography workshop. The walk continues in the priory garden where I will pick up some ideas for my own garden and I finish the afternoon at the Montigny castle in Perreux with a cold drink that I enjoy in the castle park... It's this way I recharge my batteries and, for once, disconnect!!!

A journey through time with Patrick and Christine
Come wander through a maze of rooms and nooks and crannies in Patrick and Christine's old house (a former clog maker's shop still in its original state) with books and comics galore at low prices! Not to mention the flea market, I go there every day to see the arrivals piled up in the courtyard, pure joy!

This castle has a soul, as beautiful as that of those who inhabit it
An essential place to visit for our family reunions in Puisaye. We all have a piece of traditional Ratilly sandstone here which reminds us of this majestic and simple place and the friendly welcome reserved for us there. Enjoy the courtyard during an evening concert, the setting is idyllic and so charming…!

The magic of colors
Virginie Lagerbe is an outstanding revealer. She reveals the hidden colors of our plants to us with the natural technique of vegetable dyeing. Each plant has its secrets and Virginie finds them by searching for the colorful soul of the gardens. She receives us on Saturday mornings in Toucy or by appointment. She offers wonderful creations at home such as scarves and cushions.

The remains of the fortifications of Saint-Vérain
A lover of old stones, I never tire of contemplating the remains of the old medieval fortifications of the village of Saint-Vérain, real little historical gems. Surrounded by the song of birds, I follow with my eyes the ivy which tenaciously embraces a few plots of stone and lets me imagine, with a certain emotion, what this feudal city might have looked like at its peak, hundreds of years ago .
