Throughout the summer season, the Puisaye-Forterre Tourist Office will meet you during our various off-site receptions.

Our paths will certainly cross during our visits to the campings, certain markets or during big events in Puisaye-Forterre. If you see our barnum in the distance with its flamboyant colors, do not hesitate to go towards it and come and chat with our reception agent who will share with you his ideas for a stay.

Generally, Guedelon is open from the end of March to the beginning of November. But depending on the time of year, times may vary. We thank you for referring to the opening schedule.

We advise you to spend between 4 and 6 hours on site.

Puisaye-Forterre is full ofleisure activities and heritage and know-how specific to this little corner of Burgundy. More than 60 tourist sites are located within a 30-minute radius around Guedelon.

The Tourist Information Offices of Saint-Fargeau, Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye and Treigny are only ticket resellers Guedelon (same prices as on the tourist site).

In July-August, swimming in Bourdon Lake is monitored ONLY from the place called “La calanque”, opposite the camping. Outside of this period and area, swimming is at your own risk.

To answer all these questions, we will clarify this in several points:

  1. We advise you to visit the village of Saint-Amanad-en-Puisaye, labeled “city and crafts” to discover numerous potters' shops. Also visit all our potters and art galleries installed in Puisaye-Forterre.
  2. For introductory pottery courses for adults or children, we suggest you visit our page “courses and workshops”. For advanced training courses, train with our professionals.
  3. To see an artisan potter in a turning demonstration, we advise you to go to the living museum of the Pottery of the Building visit us at the Ratilly castle (Monday to Thursday) or at house of pottery memory.

Two cycle paths have been designed for safe cycling since Rogny-les-Sept-Ecluses. One heading south, towards the town of Briare-le-Canal and the other further north, towards the town of Montargis.
