In their diaries, everything is written there. Concerts, local groups, last minute events. At each outing, they know which route to take, where to position themselves to enjoy the festivities and who to meet to find out everything! They blend into the background and are lucky to live here!
An evening at the Taingy festival in the street
Every year, at the end of May, at the time of the first warm evenings, the small village of Taingy comes to life for a weekend. Free shows from Friday to Saturday evening: concerts, circus, dance, theater, strolls... All this outdoors, with a tray of fries, a beer, or Martine's cheese tart! My favorite moment of the festival: the closing show on Saturday evening, always spectacular.
Autumn at Boutissaint Park
That time of day, in autumn, when the sun begins to set, and in the middle of the copper foliage, we listen: it's the deer bellowing. There, approach slowly, there, see its majesty, its branches reflecting the last rays of the autumn sun. It is truly the contemplation of nature in its pure state.
Spend some time at Point Bar
Do you want to laugh and be in a good mood? Stop by Point Bar chez Jean-Christophe, a bar and press in downtown Saint-Sauveur for a coffee, buy and read a magazine and enjoy an exhibition from the interior courtyard. He is funny, excited and super professional. And Friday evening is the opportunity to have a drink with friends!
My favorite: The Poetry of Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye
This place was completely unknown to me until this weekend in July 2017 when I went to a festival organized by the Café de la Poèterie. At that moment, I was proof that at any age we could still be amazed. The effect of unwavering magic ran through me... to understand, I need to explain a few points to you.
Vincent Magni's project: Creating an Artists' Village…
Poetry: It's about a old stoneware pipe manufacturing factory whose activity ceased at the end of the 90s, taken over in 2006 by the ambitious artist Vincent Magni who had the crazy but oh so exemplary and motivating project of perpetuating the soul of this building by rebuilding all of the dilapidated parts following the abandonment of which it was a victim.
Through his action, Vincent today allows artists from all worlds to appear in the light of Poetry. A boon for these artists who can live there, work there but also reveal their creativity during events.
It is thanks to this approach that I was able to feel this strong emotion, each of my steps taken on the Poetry site was a step of discovery and learning. The presence of the building, the works that reside there, the proximity to Nature…
Another part to discover, Le Café de la Poèterie
Before ordering your beverage, wait, turn around and admire the imposing structure which once fed 300 local households.
Now you can consume your drink in the company of Thomas and Clément, two brothers who manage the association organizing the events. Their project: to bring Poetry to life all year round through two free cultural seasons open to all (concerts, curiosity workshops, theme evenings, game evenings as well as through festivals such as “ The Art Festival » (multicultural festival) or the “ Poet'Fest » (Metal festival).

Fully invested, their major action is to perpetuate everyday human values. Conviviality, sharing, support…so many qualities that they know how to transmit unconsciously. I would summarize by specifying that all the ingredients for complete cultural pleasure are in Poetry. A great handwritten speech is not worth physical encounters, the feeling is too minimal so I invite you or rather I oblige you to stop time by visiting this place full of emotions, go and meet it, immerse yourself , feel the soul of Poetry.
A destiny as we would like for many wastelands... Detroit has done it for its neighborhoods, Poetry too!
