Description

Colette Museum. Ein Museum der Eindrucke. Saint-Sauveur bietet ein außergewöhnliches Kunst-Museum, das ganz den Schriften und dem Werk von Colette, einer der bedeutendsten französischen Schriftstellerinnen, gewidmet ist. Das Museum ist im Schloss aus dem 17. Jh unterhalb des Sarrasine Turms (dem letzten ovalen, romanischen Bergfried in Frankreich) eingerichtet, neben der Literarischen Teestube und einem Dokumentationscenter, in dem ständig die Werke von Illustratoren, Bildhauern und Fotografen, die für Colette gearbeitet haben, ausgestellt werden,

Guided tours only. Limited number of places. Reservation strongly advised. High season (20 June to 11 September 2022): daily from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. Guided tours at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm. Mid season (9 April to 19 June and 14 September to 13 November 2022): Wednesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 5pm. Guided tours at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm; then from 17 October, guided tours at 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm. Low season: during the Christmas holidays (17 to 31 December 2021): Tuesday to Sunday (except 25 December) from 10.30am to 5pm. Guided tours at 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm. Annual closure : From 1 January to 8 April 2022 and from 14 November to 16 December. Closed on 1 May, 25 December and 1 January. Exceptional openings: www.maisondecolette.fr Open by prior arrangement all year round for groups of more than 10 adults or school groups.
