Marked hike No. 2. A hike in the heart of Colette country. Through the woods and ponds described many times in his works. Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye is classified as one of the “Cities of Burgundy – Franche-Comté” villages.

Description
Departure from Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye, on the Place du Château (Place Blanche car park).
(D/A) Head towards Rue de la Roche, turn right, then turn left and go down Rue Colette.
(1) Take the first right (Rue des Gros Bonnets). Go straight in front of the Post Office (Rue du Bourg Gelé) and, arriving at the intersection with Rue de la Gerbaude, follow this street (leaving the War Memorial on the left).
(2) Pass the main crossroads by taking the road towards Toucy, keeping the sidewalk on the right.
On the way up, leave Rue des Chats. A hundred meters further, cross the road with caution. In front of the old railway barrier, pass the chicane and go down towards the stadium fence barriers. Go around the entire stadium with it on the right hand side. Continue passing under the pétanque court. At the hedge, turn left and immediately go down a path inside the grove. Join the cross path and turn left to reach a small road.
(3) Head to the right and keep this lane while remaining attentive to vehicles going to or coming from the campsite.
(4) Leave the Joumiers campsite and the next farm on the right. Turn onto the first path on the left. Let the few side departures go. This path ends on the D7 road.
(5) Without crossing this road, turn right, then at the direction of Ronchères, cross with caution and take this road. At the next intersection, turn right, travel 200m and take the path on the left, forgetting along the way the forest departure point going left. This trail ends on a small road which serves a few houses and ends in front of a wood.
(6) At the turnaround parking lot, turn right onto the dirt road which enters the undergrowth and in places runs alongside the property fence. At the first intersection, turn right.
(7) Leave this path to turn left onto a path which ends on road D7 (be careful, this path is sometimes muddy in its last portion).
Carefully cross this road to take the tarmac road opposite, passing over the dyke of the Étang des Barres (also called Étang des Gouttes).
(8) In the large curve that this small road takes, take the path which goes off to the right (at the barrier in sight, the path veers to the right). This ends on the D955 road.
(9) Carefully cross this road to continue on the path opposite. Arriving in the suburbs of Saint-Sauveur, at the exit of this path, turn right and go down. Take the road towards Ouanne (on the left) for 50m.
(10) Enter the park path lined on both sides with lime trees. Pass at the foot of the Saracen tower and the Colette museum to reach the car park (D/A).
(D/A) Head towards Rue de la Roche, turn right, then turn left and go down Rue Colette.
