Description

Departure from the Place du Champ de Foire, at the foot of the sign retracing the hiking trails, at the corner of Rue du Petit Pont and the cemetery. Car parks and camper van parking area 80m away.

(D/A) Go back up Rue du Petit Pont, heading towards the town center.

(1) In front of the church, go down to the right towards Rue des Canards.

(2) Cross the Vrille stream. After leaving the first two paths on the right, take the third on the right and at the fork, take the one on the right again. Do not hesitate to turn around from time to time to contemplate the village of Treigny, which at times gives the impression of sinking into this valley.
Walk on this path, always straight ahead, sometimes going downhill.

(3) After stopping at the Marlée washhouse, the coast is rough. Don't be discouraged, think of the village washerwomen who carried their laundry, once washed, onto wheelbarrows, courage!

(4) Arriving on the road, turn left until the next intersection. At this crossroads, take the main street on the right.

(5) Turn right. Keeping this street on the right, pass in front of the old historic houses of the village. Join Grande Rue de Perreuse in front of the church, turning right.

(6) A few meters after the Sully lime tree, turn right onto Rue des Chaumes. Continue straight ahead along the avenue of lime trees (Rue de la Chaume).

(7) At the end of this path, take the path opposite. Continue to the hamlet of Diancy.

(8) At the entrance, turn left and take the path straight ahead until the next intersection to turn right. At the end of the descent, follow the road for 150m.
Take the path on the right, follow it, veering slightly to the left.

(9) After crossing the ford on the small stone bridge, join the road (D66) and take the uphill path opposite, crossing a road again (D1). The path continues for 200m.
Leave it to take the path on the right at the first intersection.
Continue to join the D1 road. Turn left just before the cemetery and return to the starting point (D/A).
