Description

Departure from the Place de la Mairie car park.
(D/A) Head towards the crossroads formed by Rue de la Gare and Rue de la Chapelle (North-West). Cross straight on towards Perreuse, leaving the housing estate on the left.

(1) Take the dirt road on the left. Go past the football field. Cross the road, leave the ordeal at the right house to arrive at La Madeleine (set of 2 houses on the left).
Take the road on the right (D3) for 200m.

(2) Continue in the right lane to the intersection of 5 roads (hill 229). Take the second road on your left and continue until the next intersection.

(3) Cross and walk for approximately 750m on the path alongside the fields. At the T-junction, turn right. At the next crossroads (hill 228), turn left. Cross the woods.

(4) Take the second path on the left, towards the Flassy farm.
Arrive at the farm, go around it, always leaving it on the right, continue on the tarmac road, pass in front of the carousel well.

(5) Continue, turn left and follow the surrounding wall partly hidden by a thick hedge of Flassy Castle. Arrive at the road.

(6) Follow this to the right for 100m, then take the path on the right (transformers on the right). At the cross, turn left, leave the street on the right which enters the farm (very often there are dogs present) and end up on the main road.

(7) Continue to the right on this road for 300m. Arrive at the first crossroads. Cross and take the left lane at the fork, then immediately turn left again.

(8) Continue straight ahead for approximately 2,5km. Arrive on a small road.

(9) Turn right and leave 300m further on to take the dirt road on the left. In fact this path is an old Roman road on which you must always walk straight towards the North-East.

(10) Cross the D66 road with caution. Continue straight ahead and end up on the D6.

(11) Cross this road and continue opposite on a tarmac section. Leave a tarmac lane on the left. Pass an old farm on the left to reach the Montagne des Alouettes.

(12) Arrive a few meters before the altitude marker (367m). Take the dirt road on the left, then turn left again at the next one. Then, leave the old windmill on your left (private property).
Keep this main path, forgetting the right and left paths to reach the road (D6).

(13) Cross and go down the path opposite. Leave the departures on the left and right to arrive on a tarmac road. Pass in front of a pond on the left. Join La Villeneuve and cross straight on via the only access road. At the crossroads, at the exit of the village, take the road on the left.

(14) Before the next road (D66), take the path on the right. Leave it after about 500m to take the path on the left (bollard cast in the ground) which leads to a small tarmac lane. At this crossroads, go straight. Then, next left to arrive on Rue de la Chapelle opposite the café and the Notre Dame de Lorette Chapel.

(15) Take the downhill street, go around the church on the left, passing between this church and the house to reach the starting car park (D/A).
