L'Orme du Pont depuis Moutiers-en-Puisaye
Marked hike No. 4. An all-season route in this region of Puisaye between forests with or without trognes, heritage and legends.

Description
Departure from the Moutiers church car park.
(D/A) Head east along the small road, go up to the first crossroads.
(1) Go straight ahead. Follow this path passing through Le Tourailler, then through Saint-Michel, reaching the Croix Saint-Pierre.
(2) Extend to the main road (D955).
(3) Take this lane for 100m, turning right. Watch out for traffic.
Then take a tarmac lane on the left. Pass the Trois Fontaines and continue to arrive very close to the Orme du Pont pond.
(4) Leave this pond on your left to go up on the right towards Les Dubois and follow, leaving the Jacquots farm on the right, then the hamlet of Veillats on the left. Join an old brickworks.
(5) Leave it on the left to cross the main road from Saint Sauveur to Saint Amand D955 again. Reach the village of Cagnats which bears the name of ancient potters of the region.
(6) Keep this path, go back down to the town of Moutiers to reach the church car park (D/A).
