Marked hike No. 3. From the church with its magnificent murals, cross the Ford Ricart, discover the Moutiers pond via the Marseillaise, then the undergrowth before reaching Saint-Sauveur, Pays de Colette and her birthplace.

Description
(D/A) With your back to the church, go down to the right, pass the wash house. At the crossroads, go left.
(1) Take the path on the left under the forest canopy. Cross the ford over the Loing and go up to the first houses.
(2) Just before the tarmac track, turn left, at the railway line, left again. Continue to the next road, constantly keeping the railway track on the right.
(3) Cross the RD85 with caution. Follow the railway line on the right. Cross the Cobaty Bridge which spans the Loing and allows a first view of the pond. Shortly after the bridge, go down to the right and follow the bank. Arrive at the level of the dike. Turn onto the tarmac road going to the right.
(4) At the end of the dike, turn right and immediately after, left onto the path. Continue, keeping the path on the left. Come out onto a cross road.
(5) Cut the road and take the path. In rainy periods, this part is sometimes slippery, several springs irrigate this sunken path. At the exit onto the road, turn right.
(6) After passing the last houses of Boulmiers, go left along the path (greenhouses on the right). Arrive at Les Michauts, find the road.
(7) Leave the lane on the right to take the road serving this hamlet for a few meters and leave it for a path on the left.
(8) At the Stop sign, turn right, cross the RD85 via the protected passage and go up Rue de la Gerbaude on the left sidewalk. Turn left onto Rue Derrière les Murs.
(9) Go to the right and head towards the Market Square, passing under the porch. Continue straight ahead via Rue de la Roche.
(10) Go down Rue Colette. Leave the church on the left hand side. Carefully cross the RD955 then the railway line.
(11) Go right onto Chemin du Petit Moulin which initially runs along the railway line. Pass the pumping station, then cross the Loing on a modest bridge. Leave a path going on the right.
(12) Turn left. After about 150m, in the window made in the hedge, a wide panorama opens up on these houses tumbling down the hill as Colette wrote. Join a tarmac road, go up to the right for around a hundred meters to enter under an arch formed by the side hedges. At the first path, turn right, join Les Cagnats.
(13) Turn right, follow the road to enter the next path on the left. At the first crow's foot, turn right, then right again at the second. Go down parallel to the hedge which borders a field. After the first houses, turn left then right. Following the path, pass in front of the source and the Jolivets fountain. Then, go down to the right to reach the village of Moutiers, passing in front of the church porch (D/A).
