Description
(D/A) Departure from the Saint-Julien church square.
Take the Saint-Sauveur road for 100m and turn right to take Rue du Guichet. At the crossroads, turn left and after approximately 300m of road, take the path on the left for approximately 1300m.
(1) Take the path on the right which leads to a small lane which you must take on the right until the intersection with road D3. Take the road opposite.
(2) Turn slightly to the right and immediately afterwards to the left. This avoids crossing the hamlet of Colangette.
(3) At the Carouge crossroads, take the dirt road opposite for approximately 1400m without worrying about left or right departures. At the cross path, turn right and join the D4 road.
(4) Arriving at this road, turn right for 50m, then go up the path on the left to arrive at a large curve on a tarmac lane, turn right and continue on this lane. At the next fork, take the right street for 100m and then follow the dirt road on the left, passing in front of the Puits des Champs.
(5) Continue to the next tarmac lane. Turn left on this road, entering the village of Grangette.
(6) At the intersection of 4 roads, turn right towards Pesselières, leaving at the next large curve to turn right onto the dirt road.
This path turns square on the right, then take the next left which ends on the D73.
(7) Cross this road and take the path on the right through the woods. From this location, many tracks are traced on the ground.
Refer to practical information and mountain bike markings. Head southwest and leave the quarries on the left, following the wooded strip.
(8) Go straight ahead.
(9) Pass in front of the stadium which will be on the right and head left at the crossroads.
The road ends in a forest path, leave all paths on the right and left until you reach the woods on the descent.
(10). At the exit, turn 90° to the right and follow the edge of the Bois du Roichat, follow until the next road. At the tarmac road, turn right and follow it for around 800m.
(11) Take the path on the left, then 150m and turn right, keep this path until the next road to cross (D3). Travel 200m, turn right, cross the road again, go down the path which leads to the Moulery spring.
(12) Go back on the road, cross it and take the dirt road.
On this path, nice view of the hamlet of Moulery. Turn once to the right, then once to the left, then twice to the right to arrive at the Gémigny wash house.
(13) Go, always keeping the path on the left, to the Boutaut source.
(14) Turn around, cross Gémigny via rue des Cours, then left, Rue des Lavoirs to keep until the Panny source.
(15) Go back up the road northwest. At the first crossroads, turn right then, immediately after, turn left on the path. At the next intersection, turn right and at the top of the climb, turn right to join the D73 road.
(16) Cross this road then take a path opposite which you will have to leave at the next intersection to turn left and immediately choose the one on the right which leads to the village of La Forêt.
(17) Take the right road (D211) to the reservoirs (on the left). Take the dirt road heading South East. At the bottom of the descent, turn left to reach the D73.
(18) Cross this road, the Saint-Julien washhouse is on the right, continue south-east to reach the church square (D/A).
