Marked hike No. 97. From hills to valleys, the views pass sometimes over the cherry orchards, sometimes over the vineyards and the plateaus of the Yonne. Spring and autumn offer very beautiful shades of color.

Description
Departure from the center of the village of Migé, at the foot of the town hall and the parking lot in front of the small pond.
(D/A) Facing the pond and the benches, turn left and follow Rue de l'Étang. At the church, go straight on and then turn left to follow the Grande Rue until you leave the village.
(1) At this fork, go straight ahead. At the next one, leave the road and turn left onto Chemin des Laves. Enter the woods and at the crossroads, keep to the right to keep the main path.
(2) Carefully cross the road, turn right for around fifty meters and take the path on the left. Cross the Ru de Genotte. Then begin a fairly regular climb, always keeping the right path. At the end of the woods, continue along the edge with an overhanging power line.
(3) Go straight on at this intersection, the power line serves as a landmark. Keep it on your right hand for a few dozen meters. Pass under this line and leave the wooded area. Arrive at a crossroads of four paths, turn right. Join a road.
(4) Cut it and follow the path. Cross a small path again to begin the descent to Charentenay.
(5) Carefully cross this intersection heading towards the village. Pass the adjacent streets to reach the Grande Rue. Take it on the left.
Pass in front of the Saint-Laurent Church, continue straight on until the crow's feet junction.
(6) Turn right onto Rue de la Poterne. At the following intersection, turn right, pass the Sentier de Derrière les Murs on the right and go up the partly tarmac lane. Forget the access path to the telecommunications pylon as well as the next one on the left.
(7) The tarmac is finished, the path goes straight and continues to climb but the slope has become gentler.
(8) Shortly before an old vineyard, turn right to begin a descent towards Nanteau. Turn onto the first path you come across and go left. Let the next one on the left slip away into the plain. Pass in front of a small spring on the left.
(9) Take the cross street (Grande Rue de Nanteau) turning left. A wash house is located below. An arduous climb reaches a plateau at the exit of the woods.
(10) Turn right and travel approximately 150 m to turn right again. At the fork, turn left.
(11) Enter the undergrowth while keeping the main path. A good descent follows which continues in a more open space.
Shortly before the road, turn left onto a rather grassy path (not mentioned in the IGN background) and end up on the road.
(12) Cross with caution and go down opposite on a fairly wide path.
(13) Leave the path and take the road to the left, continuing downhill. Go straight on at the first crossroads and turn left into Rue de la Petite Fontaine (old oil mill on the right). Come out onto the square to reach the parking area (D/A).
