La Chapelle Sainte-Reine à Villiers-Saint-Benoît
Marked hike No. 102. This little path which smells of hazelnut as Mireille sang has here more of a scent of hornbeam and humus in the undergrowth. It is very pleasant to discover a very landscaped nature with of course the trognes and these hedges which shade a good part of the route.

Description
The departure and return point is located in the Pâtis leisure area at the exit of the village towards Mézilles.
(D/A) Reach the level crossing. In front of it, go left to take the path towards the Chapelle Sainte-Reine. Leave a first path on the left. At the chapel, continue straight and after a 90° curve, cross the railway line (be careful, the tourist train passes).
Go up the path located between the hedge on the left and a field on the right. Continue in this way, crossing a wooded area and arriving at a crossroads of four paths.
(1) Go down to the left, carefully cross the railway line again and then the Ouanne on the Passerelle Cheval.
(2) Carefully cross the D950 and go up the path opposite. Leave the paths on the right as you pass (not mentioned on the IGN background, but clearly present). Reach a crossroads of three paths.
(3) Go left. A path on the left will be left (a chain blocks access to this private path).
(4) At the crossroads and in front of the market gardening farm, cross and veer to the left, following the property while keeping the right shoulder. Leave the road at the entrance to the curve to continue on the path on the right which leads to a tarmac lane.
(5) Turn right, then left onto the path located about a hundred meters away. Continue along the hedges on both sides. Arriving on a traffic lane, turn left. At the cemetery crossing, go down to the left and immediately to the right into Rue des Trois Croix.
(6) Carefully cross Rue Augustin Boyer and continue straight. Turn right onto Rue des Ferriers and reach, after crossing one of the arms of the Ouanne, the Lavoir des Ferriers. After the visit, join Rue Augustin Boyer.
(6) Take it without crossing it by turning left. Walk for around fifty meters, keeping the sidewalk on the left, and go down the alley which ends at the back of the church. Keep the latter on the left, emerge in front of the castle.
Upon arrival at Rue Augustin Boyer, keep to the left sidewalk. At the crossroads, turn left.
(7) Pass in front of the Museum entrance then cross the Ouanne, reaching the Pâtis leisure area (D/A).
