Description

Departure is from the Town Hall courtyard (fairly large car park).

(D/A) At the exit of the courtyard, go left and go down Rue Saint-Blaise. Cross a first bridge, then a second and continue, leaving the church on the left. At the cross street (Rue de Lestrade), turn right, leave the chapel on the left¹ and continue until the first path going off to the right. Follow it, pass the service entrance to the colony, forget the side paths and join a tarmac road.

(1) Go down to the right (dead end sign). Cross the Branlin by the ford or the footbridge. Arrive on the D7, cross with caution and go straight on for a good hundred meters.

(2) Turn into the small path on the left hidden under an arbor formed by the 2 side openings and which leads to a cross path. Go left, go down to the first houses and arrive again at the D7.

(3) Carefully cross the D7 and continue straight on the path with a few houses on the left. In front of the agricultural building, the path turns 90°, once again taking shaded parts. A new footbridge allows you to cross the Branlin.

(4) At the top of the path, turn right onto the tarmac lane to leave it by turning left onto an uphill path. Follow it while keeping this main path. On the left a window opens with a view of the hills, the water tower and a relay antenna. Arrive in front of a farmhouse and a tarmac road.

(5) Turn left taking this route. Continue, beautiful faces on either side of the road open the way towards the water tower and the relay antenna. Leave the side paths, pass in front of the only Jaluzots dwelling.

(6) Go straight ahead to reach the François. At the stop sign, cross the D22 and go almost opposite. Go straight ahead, leaving a first path on the right and another immediately after on the left.

(7) At the road, turn right. In the basin, pass over the discreet Heritage Bridge to be discovered by carefully going down to the right. Cross the hamlet of Mussots, keeping the road.

(8) Take Chemin des Boulats on the left. The semi-tarmac road ends at the level of the only house. Arrive on a cross path, turn left, go down to end up in an open space. Travel a few dozen meters.

(9) Turn left along the hedge. Go up this path, reach the undergrowth then a forest path. Continue straight ahead, arriving on the D160 road. Take it from the left, keeping the left shoulder carefully.

(10) A little before the Beauregard farm, return on the left on a fairly discreet path. The Ferrier de la Garenne is now underfoot. After following the field, in a curve on the left (this first path traced on the IGN background no longer exists), continue on the left (on the right, there are old stored rails).

(11) At the crossroads, take the path opposite, pass a picnic area on the right. Thereafter, keep the main path on the left.

(12) Come out onto a clearing with a few picnic tables opposite, a forge and a replica of a blast furnace installed by the Ferrier de Tannerre association. Do not go any further (except for a more in-depth visit). Turn right, direction Le Puits. Pass in front of this old well on the right, continue veering slightly to the left.

(13) At the signposted “Centre ville” crossroads, go back down to the village following the field fence. Pass under the portico indicating one of the entrances to this site.
Arriving at Rue Carreau, go down to the left. In front of the Saint-Martin Church, turn right, cross the two bridges to arrive in the courtyard of the town hall (D/A).
