Description
Departure is from the Levis church parking lot.
(D/A) Pass in front of the church porch and go down the few steps (be careful, some are a little shaky) to enter a narrow path on your left. At the edge of the woods, take the undergrowth path on the left.
(1) Arriving at the road, go downhill to the right, cross the hamlet “Le Chênoy”. At the intersection of the T-shaped roads, head opposite on the dirt road.
(2) Go down this path, then turn left just after crossing the road (fording or on the small bridge). Walk for 150m and turn right. At the road, turn right for 50m, then turn left onto the path. Pass in front of the remains of looted sculptures on the right.
(3) At the crossroads with the D3, turn right then at the obelisk, turn left. Continue straight on this dirt road to reach Fontenoy.
(4) Follow Rue Principale to the left until you reach the War Memorial.
(5) Leave this street to take the path on the left (between the monument and the impasse du Monument) and continue by turning right at the next intersection of 3 T-shaped paths.
(6) Cross the road, continue on the path and take the tarmac lane on the left, at the intersection.
(7) Go back and forth to the Château-Musée du Tremblay by taking the tarmac road on the left.
(8) Turn around.
(7) Continue straight then turn left after having covered approximately 150m. This path runs along woods and crosses fields. Shortly before crossing a road, a few meters after an electrical support pole, turn right onto the path which leads into a small wood and ends in the hamlet of Ysserts. Cross the road, straight on. The tarmac road taken takes us to Dubourgs. Keep it until the next intersection with the D3.
(9) At this crossroads, turn left (Be careful of traffic), travel 100m and take the path on the right. After crossing Ru de Fontenoy, continue for 250m and turn right. Continue on this path and, in the big curve, take the path on the left to reach the hamlet of Champignaux. leave the path going on the right.
(10) Arriving at the first houses, just after the pond on the left, turn left onto the path which passes between 2 houses, pass a second pond on the right to reach a small road and the hamlet of Michaux (another pond on the left). Turn left, go approximately 100m to turn onto the first road on the right.
(11) When this road makes a 90° bend to the left, take the path opposite and continue to the village of Talbruns, keeping the main path which ends on a tarmac road.
At the crossroads, take the road on the left, then the first on the left and reach the starting point (D/A).
