Starting from the central car park at Place des Frères Genêt, you will discover the fishing pond and the leisure center very close to the town center offering a magnificent panorama. Crossing woods, medieval streets and stopping on the promontory overlooking the Place de la République dominated by the bust of Pierre Larousse: you will enjoy exceptional views of this town whose existence has been documented since the middle of the 3rd century.

Departure: Place des Frères Genets
(D/A) Facing the Post Office, go to the right of the building: you are on Rue de l'Abreuvoir. Head towards the bridge to cross the Ouanne. Arriving at the pond, turn right. Bernache geese will accompany you, for their health, avoid feeding them.
(1) A picnic shelter is available. Continue to road D3. Cross the road and take the straight path opposite, preceded by a “No entry” sign. You are on the old Tacot line. Cross the Ouanne and continue. At the end of the path, carefully cross the departmental 950 and continue on the path opposite.
Cross the small Route de Sauilly (D159) and continue on the Chemin des Champs de la Route which ends in a path.
Arriving on the D965 at the Toucy exit, carefully cross the road to go opposite. It is a pleasant, wooded path. You are again on the taxi line (Toucy-Joigny) to the old Toucy-Haut station (inscriptions erased).
Go down Rue de la Halte on the left which joins Rue des Montagnes. Cross and enter La Glaudonnerie park on the right.
(2) Walk around the building (currently, municipal library). Return to Rue des Montagnes and go down it. Cross Rue Paul Defrance and continue opposite.
(3) After admiring the oldest house in Toucy, in Rue du Marché (2nd house on your right going down), turn immediately right towards the church. Facing the entrance to the church, turn left onto Rue de la Motte and go down it.
(4) At the bottom, turn right until you reach a green space (viewpoint). Take the stairs in front of you.
Arriving at Place de la République, discover the statue of Pierre Larousse. Continue opposite along Rue Colette and reach the Place des Frères Genêt car park, passing in front of the Tourist Office (D/A).
