Departure from Place du Champ de Foire, at the foot of the sign retracing the hiking trails, at the corner of Rue du Petit Pont and the cemetery. Car parking and camper van parking area 80 m away.

(D/A) Go back up Rue du Petit Pont and head towards the town center via Rue Camille Lian. Arriving opposite the church, turn slightly to the left to go up Rue du Couvent, head towards the tennis court and pass alongside the new cemetery located on the left. Follow the well-shaded path.

(1) At the ford, leave the Vrille river on the right to continue due north to the tarmac road.

(2) Take it on the left. After about 300 m, just after a path on the left, go to the right. Go along a field then hedges on either side to cross a road.

(3) Go straight ahead to take the path opposite. Go up slowly and reach the first Perriers houses.

(4) At the crossroads, turn right and, at the exit of the hamlet, leave the tarmac by going straight on a dirt road.

(5) Cross the road and go to the right, keeping the tarmac road heading to the left (the path facing the finish is private). Go straight ahead, with caution at the intersection with the D66.

(6) Turn right and keep this main path which goes down to Étang de Chassin.

(7) Cross the road (D955) with caution then go up the path and end up on a road (D66).

(8) Turn left for a journey of approximately 200 m. Leave this lane to branch off onto the first small dirt and sand road on the left.

(9) At the end of this path, the footbridge will allow you to cross the marsh and the old mill reach of Moulin Cognot. Go back between the buildings. At the junction with the D955, cross with caution and take the path opposite. He arrives at La Guénerie, then at Crot Veillat (artisan bakery on the left).

(10) Turn right, the path which will take you to Crot Maçon. Continue straight ahead, leaving the few paths on the right and left.

(11) At the crossroads of five paths including a fairly wide forest path, choose the forest path by veering slightly to the right (direction South-West).

(12) At the end of this forest path, for the last portion, go down to the left. The road is quite shaded, forming in places a beautiful canopy of trees; leave on either side, the Pautrats, Bourg sans Paille, the Martins.

(13) Leave Ratilly Castle on the right. Continue on this asphalt road.

(14) In the hamlet of Jolivots, at the cross on the left, take the path which goes left. Continue straight ahead, it will take you back to the starting point (D/A).
