Marked hike No. 88. Located on a hill, Pourrain offers many sporting activities including this circuit taking a very hilly area between woods and crops, valleys and plateaus dotted with springs. Very beautiful views of Puisaye, Forterre and Auxerrois enhance this outing.

Description
The departure is from Place du Château d’Eau. A large car park can accommodate vehicles.
(D/A) With your back to the water tower, head towards the left corner of the car park which opens onto Rue de Nantou. At the bend, go left onto Chemin des Bordats marked by a sign presenting the sports route. Past the last houses, the path is grassy. Go down, leaving the sports route on the right and reaching a crossroads of four paths.
(1) Take the second path on the left, still going down. At the cross path, turn right. Pass a path on the right (not shown on the IGN background) and, at the fork, go to the right to arrive on a road, having left a start on the right just before going down the road.
(2) Take it to the right, cross Les Graillots completely and continue to arrive at a crossroads. Head left towards Talin-le-Bas for approximately 150 m.
(3) Go up the green path on the right. Arriving at the road, continue straight until you reach the entrance to Nantou.
(4) Cross and turn right, direction Pourrain. On the climb, leave Chemin des Sources and, after the transformer, in the curve, go straight on taking Rue du Tertre (dead end) which ends in a path to continue for approximately 150 m.
(5) Turn left at an acute angle. Arriving at the fork, take the fairly steep climb on the right to arrive on a plateau. Keep the main path (the configuration of the places is not precisely that which is shown on the IGN background).
(6) Facing the relay antenna, turn right onto a grassy path with a power line in focus. Pass under the latter and reach a cross path. Take it to the right, pass a curve to reach a semi-buried water tower.
(7) Continue straight ahead, leaving the following path on the right. After a curve, arrive at an intersection. Take the flat path on the right towards the woods.
(8) In front of this wood, go down to the left and, after around 200 m, enter the undergrowth. At the exit, go straight ahead to come out on a road.
(9) Take it to the right and, in the bend, leave the start towards Nantou – le Mousseau. Continue to the next bend.
(10) Take the path on the left, going uphill at the very beginning, then plunging down into the valley (beautiful viewpoint at the summit passage).
(11) At the Calvary (Croix Grillot), cross the road with caution and take the path opposite. At the crossroads, in front of a hedge, turn left. The village with its church and the water tower come into view.
Arriving at the entrance to Chemin de Bellevue located on the right, pass between the large stones and go between the houses. Cross the roundabout to take Rue des Hâtes Barrées. Arriving on Rue de Nantou, turn right to reach the car park (D/A).
