Where to swim ?

Water, sand, sun and a nice breeze that gently touches your shoulders...Time slowly passes as you go from your towel to the water, you read a book, you play ball with your children, laughing a they’re building sandcastles and tunnels by of the water...Happy days !

Swimming and pools, slow holidays…you deserve it!

Slow holidays, nothing but happiness…But sometimes, you have to wait for months to enjoy this moment while your friends have been posting selfies from beaches from all around the world…Thank you Facebook and Instagram !

So, to meet your wishes there’s a rather nice lake here in Puisaye. Located in a well-preserved natural environement, it offers multiple activities for the whole family such as swimming, pedalo boating, mountain biking, paddleboarding, canoeing, horse ridding etc… all at sensible prices, it’s le lac du Bourdon à Saint-Fargeau !

A place and an atmosphere…for you to enjoy

All right, it’s not the best of names (in French « bourdon » either means « bumblebee » or « being sad »…) But the scenery is relaxing, the sand is warm, the water temperature is ideal and in addition the forest is all around you. No worries about sunburns then, you can quietly take a nap in the shade.

Fun fact : the chips van by the lake is held by an authentic « Cht’i ». That’s how we call people who originate from the North of France and who are famous for frying the best chips in the country !
