How to get to Saint-Amand en Puisaye?
The closest train stations are Cosne sur Loire and Briare. A bus line (LM550) linking Saint-Amand to Cosne is possible every Wednesday and every Friday except public holidays. However, the easiest way is to come by car, which will allow you on weekends to visit the riches of Puisaye-Forterre.

Is EMA-CNIFOP open to the public?
The center is above all a training school. Only future students can request a site visit. However, during the annual pottery festival on Ascension Saturday and Sunday, open days are held. A great way to discover the center's facilities and the work of the students in training.
Training courses for all aspects of the profession
For 45 years, ema-Cnifop has trained more than 300 trainees in ceramics professions each year. The center has 8 workshops, 2 technology and drawing rooms, a resource center, two exhibition rooms, and two accommodation residences (currently under construction). It offers a complete range of professional training, ranging from ceramic turning to advanced decoration techniques.

Vocational training
4 long-term training courses allow future professionals to acquire skills in turning, enamelling, decoration and creation, through educational courses, practical workshop courses and a company internship.

Workshops
The center also offers short courses, lasting around 1 week, with a varied program, from discovery to the acquisition of new techniques in the ceramic professions and the use of clay.
The CNIFOP is constantly transforming to meet the new requirements of the ceramic professions and climate issues. In the coming months, an economical and ecological wood-fired oven will be installed within this center of excellence.
