Description

In the heart of nature, the Wolf Pyramid is an ecological structure full of surprises... We follow in the footsteps of the wolf from prehistoric times to the present day. The visit begins in "Land of Legends", in a scenovision area, where we discover some surprising scenes, including the 3D animated film of "P'tit Louveteau"! For older visitors, there is a documentary film on the return of the wolf. As we descend the ramp, wolves carved in wood peer down at us... We then discover the beginnings of man's domestication of the wolf in a prehistoric cave. The corridors of a thousand traps send shivers down our spines as history comes to light! Arriving in the Land of Balance, the destination is the mountains, with a documentary on the return of the wolf to France. Finally, the wolf introduces itself to us in "Terre Sauvage", where it explains how it survives in the wild. It's a unique experience, with areas that are both fun and educational, not to mention a magnificent 20-hectare outdoor park where the walk leads us to Néïs and Nahele, our wolfdogs from Saarloos. There are fun trails to learn more about the pond's ecosystem, the bat's way of life and the benefits of renewable energy. If you'd like to try out our barefoot trail (booking required), don't wait any longer... Nature Discovery Trail... Nature lovers, discover our Nature Discovery Trail, which starts at the foot of the Pyramide du Loup. On this 30-minute loop walk, find the badger's burrow and then wander along beautiful paths lined with centuries-old trognes. Admire an oak tree over 500 years old! Whether you're away for the weekend or on holiday, this is the perfect opportunity for the whole family to get out and enjoy nature, with the chance to spot roe deer, wild boar, foxes and other small mammals in the wild. Our cultural site is accessible with a pushchair. Baby changing facilities on site. Snacks, picnic tables and a walking trail with an exceptional spot of trognes.
