The Toucy Tourist Train
Visit: A typical family day
The Tourist Train is more about thirty so-called regular visits, whether as a Picasso, Micheline or draisine. On public holidays, Sundays from May to September, Wednesdays in summer, you will hear the characteristic horn of the train entering the station with a route going from Toucy à Villiers-Saint-Benoit.
For train rides, departure is generally at 15 p.m. from Toucy station for a return at 17:30 p.m. After the usual checks, here we go! The train starts and its horn sounds loudly. Your arrival will be at 15:30 p.m. in Villiers-Saint-Benoît, this gives you time to walk around the village, visit the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire or have a snack in the Pâtis garden.


When the handcar is out, there are several departures during the day at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 14 p.m., 15 p.m. and 16 p.m. In a fully glazed handcar, you will appreciate the picturesque landscapes from Puisaye-Forterre. At Toucy-ville station, you can also do a visit to the railway museum and the Post Office traveling museum.
Whether you are a family with children, friends or a group, the Tourist Train will seduce you with its authenticity. Please note, if you are a group (20 people or more), contact the association to offer you a typical walk by reservation.

Gastronomy on Board: The Train-Restaurant, a Feast on Rails
For lovers of good food, the restaurant train is an option not to be missed. In collaboration with the restaurant Le Blé d'Or in Triguères, you will enjoy a tasting and a meal, like in the days of the great railway expresses.

All year round, the Tourist Autorails association organizes traditional events around the rails. The festivities of Easter, Halloween and Christmas transform trains into festive decorations, creating a enchanted atmosphere for passengers of all ages. Onboard activities, themed costumes and special tastings make every event memorable.
The Puisaye-Forterre railway association: A journey through time

Founded in 1985, the Yonne tourist rail association's mission is to preserve local railway heritage while providing an unforgettable experience to travelers. Transpoyaudin can count on its dedicated volunteers from the association who have meticulously restored old trains, transforming each carriage into a living testimony to France's railway history. With models ranging from the 1910s to the 1940s, it's a temporal mosaic that attracts visitors from all walks of life.
