When we think of Puisaye-Forterre, we more often imagine it in summer, with its open tourist sites, its festivals and swimming at Lac du Bourdon. But when the first frosts arrive, the landscape changes in Puisaye. Frost settles on the last reckless flowers, fog covers the meadows and fields in the early morning and a joyful and sometimes playful smoke comes from the chimneys of villages and hamlets. Now, the summer crowds have left and the fresh air enters the lungs of a privileged few on the hiking trails where you more easily come across deer, rabbits or wild boars. In addition to this bucolic charm, the Christmas markets, often with Santa Claus, festivals, theaters and exhibitions still continue. It's up to you to enjoy an enchanted break 2 hours from Paris, in Yonne in Burgundy.
